My plans in life was once again thrown out the door. That always happens when I finally think things are going my way. But, God is always one to remind me that I am not truly in control of my destiny.

The last post on this blog was almost four years ago. In these four years, my life went in all different directions. Upside down,  backwards, fast forward, insane, and anything other adjective you can think of. HAHA. I am still married. We will be celebrating 19 years together and 14 years married. We now have 3 kids. All girls. All very energetic. Each unique in their own way. Even though they are adopted, they are loved so much. By everyone in our circle.  They are not perfect kids. They have a lot of issues that I am sure that I will be writing about on here down the road. But they are loved and have bright futures ahead of them.

My hope is to actually get this blog up and running. Maybe even my photography. I have more time on my hands since I was laid off as a result of a new California law that makes it hard for independent contractors to work. I love California but it is becoming harder to live in this state.

Happy New Year everyone! And if you haven't seen yet:  Do not sign the year as 20 only (1-12-20). Because of theft issues you need to write the full year 2020 (1-12-2020).  People can just add numbers to 20 and make it any other year (2019, 2006, etc).
